This page explains how to delete your Shimbiri account, and what our privacy policy says happens to your information.
Delete your account on the web
- Sign in to your Shimbiri account.
- Go to https://account.shimbiri.ai/account/delete.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account.
What happens to your data
We keep your information while your account or vessel relationship with us is active, and as required for safety and legal records. If you want something deleted, ask us at support@shimbiri.ai and we will honour the request.
You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time. Email support@shimbiri.ai from the address on your account, or ask through the app. We will confirm the request came from you, then delete your personal data within 30 days.
Two things survive a deletion request: records we are legally required to hold, and safety-critical voyage records. We keep those only as long as we are required to, then they go too.
If you cannot sign in
If you cannot sign in, email support@shimbiri.ai from the address on your account and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm the request came from you, then delete your personal data within 30 days.
